What's New at Spring Bay in 2012
- We are proud to announce two new additions to the Amundson Family! Reece William Whitney was born on July 12th 2011 weighing in at 8 pounds 5 ounces & 20 inches long. Brayden Thomas Amundson was born on October 6th 2011 weighing in at 8 pounds 5 ounces & 20 1/2 inches long.
- We have re-built the main community fire pit area. By building a large deck w/bench seating all the way around, it is more of a picnic area for larger cookouts and/or gatherings.
- We DO accept credit cards, however, whenever possible we prefer checks(helps keep our costs down).
- Steve is buying a new guide boat leaving the old guide boat available for the rental fleet. It is a 17.5ft aluminum "G3" fishing boat w/a 115hp 4-stroke motor fully equipped for fishing, for $750/week or $200/day. We also bought two new 16ft aluminum Mirrocraft fishing boats w/30hp 4-stroke motors, which are also fully equipped for fishing. They run $400/week or $80/day.
- The following specials will be extended and/or added (NOTE: Specials do not include any free guide time):
- **May & Fall Specials of $225/per person & per week (w/a 3 person minimum) on 1 bedroom & small 2 bedroom cabins (NOTE: 5/4/12-5/26/12 & 8/25/12-9/30/12). A docking fee of $60 per boat will also apply during these promotions.
- **May & Fall Specials of $225/per person & per week (w/a 4 person minimum) on all large 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom & 4 bedroom cabins (EXCLUDES: Crosswater Retreat, Grissel's Lake House, Lakeside & Wakemup Bay House)(NOTE: 5/4/12-5/26/12 & 8/25/12-9/30/12). A docking fee of $60 per boat will also apply during these promotions.
- **October Special of $225/per person & per week (w/a 2 person minimum). A docking fee of $60 per boat will also apply during this promotion.
- **Special for 2 people of $1095/per week including a boat & motor (Cabins that apply: all 1 bedroom & small 2 bedroom) (boats that apply are: a 16 ft fishing boat w/a 25 hp or 30 hp motor).
- **Winter Special of $50/per person & per night (w/a 4 person minimum) or $200 per night.
- Same as the 2011 season, the following will NOT be included in the cabins for the 2012 season: Salt, pepper, food storage containers, dish soap, hand soap, kitchen garbage bags, bathroom garbage bags & paper towel.
- Mid-week towel turnover is available by request only.
- We will continue our fishing report and our fishing hall of fame link on our website. If you caught fish and didn't make it on our website, please email us your pictures and we will happily add them.
- We strongly encourage our guests who want prime-time, which is from June 1st thru September 1st, to book in advance or at one of our sport shows (same goes for larger groups).
- Cabins will be open until 1st ICE of the 2012 winter season, especially for those late fishermen.
- Fish Guide Service: with one-week stay (June, July or August ONLY) you will receive a FREE 2 hours of guide time. Additional guide service is available: 4 hrs/$200, 6 hrs/$250, 8 hrs/$300 (times may be split up through-out your stay) (different rates apply for non-resort guests) (NOTE: Specials do not include any free guide time).
- Partial-week stays are still welcome when we have the availability.
- We will still offer multiple cabin, multiple week & large group discounts.
